PT Guide is an assistance for visually impaired people who use public transport services.

It uses the VoiceOver technology coming with your iPhone to complement passenger information systems which are being used in many public transport vehicles.

It couldnt be easier: Start PT Guide, choose or enter your target location and youre ready.

Please note that PT Guide is currently not able to provide access to names from bus stops and train/tram stations due to technical limitations.


✔ Handling made easy

Other applications require you to dig through dozens of setup dialogs. Using these is applications isnt an enjoyment. You all know that.

PT Guide is different: Thanks to the tidy user interface you always find what you are looking for. Important buttons appear prominently and provide you with helpful VoiceOver information. Therefore you immediately know where you can do what.


✔ Designed for you

During development one thing has been at the very fore: The target audience — because an app is only helpful if it is specially designed for the people using it. Therefore we provided every button with VoiceOver information to help you with precise, clear voice notifications.

Did you miss a voice notification? No problem: You can access every notifications manually - whenever you need to. One finger tip will do.
By the way: Beside from these voice notifications PT Guide also notifies you by vibration signals or short tone sequences when there are important events you need to know about. You can, of course, disable these features if you like to.
